The Drazi Sun-Hawk, also referred to as a War Bird, is the primary warship of the Drazi Military. It has NO Jump capability, as the Drazi economy can not support a large military, due to the Centauri dominating trade in their sector of space. However, through the use of Jump Gates, the Drazi have been able to use the rugged gun ship to protect their small empire. The Sun-Hawk is renowned for it's versatility and easy maintenance due to it's modular fusion reactor and simple plasma drive engines. The Sun-Hawk has actually become a commercial export item of the Drazi, as many races like the Pak'Ma'Ra have expressed interest in using them as boarder patrol ships and transports.
